Southern Hospitality
Was out running errands with my wife today and made a pit stop at Caney Creek ramp to look at the water levels. Spoke with a young man who was throwing a cast net for shad. After speaking for several minutes we walked to his truck still talking about baits, places, etc. He was showing me several of his favorite baits and starts handing me some of them straight out of the freshly opened packages. After a short time later we parted.
Thinking back on it, I can't thank Keith enough for the kindness he showed to a complete stranger who was inquisitive about the waters in the Conway area. People here have been awesome and I want folks to know how much I appreciate it. Matt, that includes you.

I have caught a lot of fish on lures similar or identical to what he gave you. That old split tail goes all the way back to the 60's and my childhood. We bought them pre-rigged on a head the old beatle bass buster. I made a trip to Arkansas recently and was treated much the same. I'm more than happy to give em some tourism dollars....when I got em LOL.

I'm not secretive either. Nice of the guy to not only tell you/ show you what he used, but he also shared his stuff with you. Classy. GTT

Matt has always been very helpful on any question I have ever asked on here that related to fishing, my boat seats, etc. Basically, almost everyone is helpful if you ask for general help and knowledge. I doubt that many will put you right on their gps coordinates however :popcorn

It's like asking to sleep on his bed and eat all the food. Not right...
