In other words, I'd you were making jigs what colors would you make most of?

Black & Chartreuse
Blue head, blue body, chartreuse tail is my favorite
Both colors above. If you have any black/chartreuse chenille tie you some black head- black/chart body and a black tail.
Brett does this mean since we were your first 3 to respond and give you our favorite, secret colors your going to make us one and send it to us free of charge?!:biggrin
just kidding
They all Look Great!!
Anything as long as you have chartruese in it.;)
Those jigs look great- As far as colors- Black and Chartruese is my go to. Sometimes they want flash. Let the fish tell you!
ANY color for the body, and Chartreuse for the tail !! :ThumbsUp

used to kill um on red head green body and yellow tail hal-fly and black head dirty white body and black and white tail
My early days of crappie fishing we trolled (1 rod each) Hal Flys. We used red head, silver body, and white marabou tail. Also use black, silver, white. My buddy kept a detailed fishing log and over many trips the red head caught most of the crappie and the black caught more bream, and yes, we caught many, many bream trolling the Hal Fly on 4# test mono.
white, black, chartruese, red, pink
Are the hair style jigs shown in this post good for pulling and tightlining or used mostly for vertical jigging?
purple/black/ bright yellow .
I like red/chartreuse; black/ green/chartreuse; and gray/red/gray.

Brett you will be surprised at some of the colors that will catch a fish or two and then for some reason no more will want the color. I think once you catch the few stupid fish all the others catch on to the game :Rofl
Hey Brett...dont forget 'lectric chicken. There's ALWAYS one in my spread somewhere and it catches fish.:)
