I think someone has started this before in winter so what do you guys got rattling around in the empty space in your heads?
Seen a good one about storing loose hooks, put them on a safety pin to keep separated and from ending up all over your box.

Tite Lok Rod Holders
Drill extra holes in the t-bar to allow more horizontal adjustability.
Or for more and easier adjustability, take the adjustment washer completely out and replace with a piece of inner tube. This doesn't give total horizontal stability, but works pretty well until a gar, catfish or spoonbill decides to play.
Still working on a way to make vertical adjustments easier. That seems to be the primary weak link for the Tite Loks. I can drive myself even crazier trying to get the rod tips level.
I take old pill bottles to put jigs in .
Try again. Refrigerator magnet. Hate auto spell sometimes.
Tie a small peace of yarn above you're minner hook, soak it in sent, holds the sent longer.
Don't wash your hands with gasoline before fishing!!!!!:banghead
I mount these to the uprights on my rod holders. Very handy for pliers, scissors, scent and drinks.

Put the safety pin through the eye of the hook.
I think we just need to remember Joe is special.....
For scent on my jigs I use the fish oil pills designed for heart health. So easy to use, you just poke the end of the pill with the jig hook and squeeze out the oil onto your jig or minnow. You can carry several in your pocket and never have to look for the jar of whatever. Works good on whisker fish as well. Every time I get "the thump" I can feel my heart get healthier at the same time, so I get 2 bangs for my buck.
Does it help fish have better memory also? Don't hook to many short ones.
Trick one is to stay away from the guys using boat fuel for scent on their hands. Another handy tip is to not fish with a guy that prefers dipping the trees above the water instead of under the water. The biggest is never believe Bill. He always wants to go fishing with me but somehow always pawns off one of his misfit showering group on me when its time to hit the water:dono When I figure out how to post some pics on here again I will add some pics of what I use for spider rigging leader holders and also of my smelly Jelly/pliers holder/dual cup holder setup.
I haven't tested this one yet, but to try to prevent rust, I have started putting the moisture capturing capsules from pill bottles into my jig head box.
it is just for you
I put my plug in the captains seat of my boat now.....because as Forrest Gump said, "I am not a smart man, Jenny"!!!!!:yikes:yikes:yikes:yikes
Yes....before you say anything, Keefer.....I put it in the seat when I take the boat out, not when I put it in the water!!!!!!
Don't have a chili dogs before going on a 12 hour road trip..... learned the hard way many years ago nothing quite like going up I29 at 70 mph with windows down and it being 20 degrees out
(1) Know very little about slip bobbers but struggled with traditional bobber stops of various designs, especially when sitting several foot deep. Fellow suggested unwaxed (important) dental floss, tie a hard knot at depth needed, cinch it down much as possible and trim the ends.
(2) When Monty unbuttons the side flaps of those 30 year old overalls and starts airing himself out put the trolling motor on highest speed available and exit the immediate area.
I posted the tip about the hooks and also the swivels.(I saw it on another post somewhere). I made an enhancement to it to prevent the pins from slipping out of the compartments on my Plano box when I turned it upright. I added the split ring to keep various sizes together and also now to large to slip out of the compartment. The split ring goes through the loop on the safety pin so you can still take off one item without removing from the split ring.
Looks like your post took a few detours off the subject too. :Rofl What are friends for?? :Rofl :cheers2
