I have not heard or been by lately......I thought his son was going to take it over.....that phone number could have been JB's personal cell phone and they just shut it down....

Well I'm not giving up yet. A trip to Erwinville maybe in order. Does anybody pass threw there and could check for me?
I may have to resort to the slater jig pole and modify it. Cut some of the foam off the handle a little lead for balance and another eye or two closer to the handle.
I passed last Sunday, everything looks like it did prior. Even told da wife ought stop and try to get one of those poles. Same car parked their same place. Never see anyone.
JR.....I recently bought a B & M 10 ft from Academy for around $50 which I consider to be very close to the Salter pole but with much better eyes....I really like it a lot.....it has a stiff butt section like the Salters......and a lot less money than Salters.....

You could probably learn more from a day fishing with him than you could from watching a year's worth of most fishing shows.
I found some :) at Superiortackle.com - Baton Rouge, Louisiana's favorite tackle store. - 225-293-FISH(3474) They have a great selection of baits. Custom rods and repair. Reels too. Said he would build me a jig pole to my specs. Maybe "D" will make me a loan
Didn't buy em all, left some for others. :)
