Might be best off to call/email site office.
Would advise to check how many tournament going on, and what times they launch/ weigh in. And schedule around that. Gets stupid up their this time of year.

Here is a link to Bass world sports. Coffeen Winter Division 15 Looks like the next tourney for them on Coffeen is Feb 7th. But there could be another club having one on Sunday. Best bet is try to hit the ramp at 8:30 am and they should all be launched. If you go early you will wait in line. Ask when there weigh in is when you reach the ramp or when your out fishing when you see one of the club members.
Did you make it out? Even if you didn't, lie to me! I wound up working on my sons car. Then replaced floor in a bathroom. The good news is I have a few new tools, and some freshly scraped knuckles. :Rofl

I don't think the Sangchris plant has been running. I fished the middle arm yesterday and the water temp was 41 degrees. Fished for 4 hours without a bite.
I did too water temp was around 41 but awful muddy like fishing in chocolate milk. Like u said not even a bite and that is pretty much what everyone I talked to said also. It sure was nice getting out tho. May have to try coffeen next but I've never been there. Does anyone know what it's like there or if they run that plant more? I was told they are only running 2 days a week at sangchris
Went Friday. Temp at ramp 45°.clarity is still choc milk. Halfway up hot water arm 60°. I was mainly BASS fishing, got one at 15". Tried crappie for a little bit, Nada for me. Watched a guy pull 3 crappie in his boat. He was using a Cork and Jig. Lake level normal pool
Going to coffeen tomorrow has anyone been doing any good?

With the weather forecasted for this weekend I would be terrified to be on coffeen haha. Believe it will be a take your number kind of weekend
The hot water arm was 68 to 72 degrees and the crappie were biting on road runners and any color jig from 5 to 6 feet tried fishing shallow first thought the crappie would be shallow but not yet and the bass were biting on crank baits and top water baits caught bass from hot water till about 52 degrees then they stopped biting
A buddy and I made it to coffeen for the first time sat. Had a real good time worked the lay downs in the hot water ditch we managed to find some not many but they were some real nice fish. Weather was beautiful but the lake was rather muddy. We look forward to trying it again. It was a lot deeper than I would have guessed and didn't stumble on any sunken piles like I wanted to but all in all good experience look forward to going back
Are there any new reports on sang or coffeen I havnt seen any smoke from sangchris this week on my way home from work
Leaving sangchris now. Plants down, broken part a local told us at the ramp. Water was 42-43. We caught 3 fish, 2 keepers. A feller could do very well spider rigging I believe, fish looked to be stacked on about every drop.
Thanks Birdy had it cleared up any I may try my luck at coffeen tomorrow tho are there any bait shops around there
Indian Grove Campground, on the left before you run into the lake. I would call them to verify hours and what they have.
