Anybody have any ideas? Since they were constant and nowhere was there alot (like perch would be) I'd say they were crappie. Unfortunately, I had catfishing gear with me. And no, I didnt catch any catfish with a falling lake level. BTW, Clark Hill looks about full pool if now down just a little. Still heavy stained (but places are very fishable).

Hard to say Butch but they are showing up very well on the graph. Maybe yellow perch, haven't fished for them on the Hill in a long time but they will school up also.
Butch, on my eagle graph my color template might be different from yours but that's what I always think is perch. Blue with a little red in it. Crappie have more of a yellow in the middle of the arch. Or atleast that's what I think I'm marking LOL.
I will say though that they aren't bunched up like perch and appear more like crappie. But I'm wondering if it's scattered perch because there's no big bait balls above them.
That's one of those place that would be nice to have arsenal of baits to figure it out.
I think its goast-fish I have fished on this kind of stuff many hours and came up with nothing

Looks like gizzard shad. That's what I see when I'm looking for bait for striper fishing. Those are the bigger ones. IMHO I'm pretty sure that's what it is.
I'll echo ReelDawg. I think those Gizzard Shad. When water turns cooler and they go a little deeper (say 15-25 ft in the creek channels), that's what they look like.
White perch seem to hover a little closer to the bottom, and their arches are flatter (not as an abrupt V) from what I've seen.
One way to tell, throw a net on them! Good catfish bait either way!

I have a Lowrance DF and that is what I see when I am catching crappie! Blue with little pink/red in it!!!!!!!

I haven't fished the Hill in months, but when I spot those isolated arches near bottom like that on Russell (where I've been fishing since late Nov), a tight-lined minnow has been producing mainly yellow perch, with some white perch and spotted bass mixed in.
