Hey Guys, I'm thinking about going but have never been. Would like info on location of the show in C'ville, lodging, seminars, best days to go or any other info you could offer.

There are seminars every hour every day. They haven't put out a schedule of seminars yet. Everything is on sale plus they give Grizzly bucks on top of the sale price. There is a hotel about a block away across from the casino.Quote:

I googled "Grizzly Jig Show" and found a lot of links to past year shows that I could blow up to read. Then went to their website and found this years show under "News & Articles" section. I couldn't blow it up to read.

armyman, the location is 303 Ward Ave. Caruthersville, MO 63830
I looked it up on map quest. Take I-55 north, exit onto hwy U to the right. U become hwy 84. It deadends at hwy 84 to the right and Ward Ave to the left. About 3 blocks Ward elbows at W 16th St to the right. Grizzly is at Ward and 3rd St.
The last time I was in Caruthersville Ward and W 3rd St were hwy 84. It confused my dad because it was hwy 61 the last time he was there.

do they usually run discounts on their BnM rods at this event? I know they offer the 3 pole discount on line but wondering what kind of prices I could get a few more PSTs for and maybe some new bandits....
Yes, they are sale priced plus the three pole discount plus Grizzly bucks on top of that. If you need poles, that's the best time to buy them. I think with the Grizzly bucks, you get $5 off of every $20 or $30 you spend.Quote:

There's a couple of restaurants nearby as well as McDonalds and Sonic out near I-55. Casino has a pretty good restaurant there. If you feel like driving another 50 miles north to Sikeston, you could hit Lamberts while you're in MO
Grizzly usually has some type of breakfast..they have one dinner meal with some of the pros..camper pads at the casino
If you want to learn more about interpreting side scan, go to the Humminbird seminar. Even though I have Lowrance units, I learned SO MUCH about reading sonar it was incredible. Humminbird factory reps have units set up for everyone to use during the seminar. It was the most informative FREE training I ever had.
If you are running a Hummingbird..bring it, and they will update it free
