Southern Crappie Heavy Action Poles
I got a couple of the new crankbait poles from Ed Duke and tested them out today. This was after catching my limit at Okatibbee using Ed's spider rigging poles with jigs. The crankin poles are 14' and have more backbone than a 14' PST. They also have a sensitive enough tip to where you could use them spider rigging when using 1 oz or more weight. This first pic is a 14' PST on the left and 14' Southern Crappie on the right. I'm pushing a Bandit 300 at 1.8 mph with both rod tips 1 ft from the surface. I'm using the 3 oz pushing weights on both poles. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01...9aabef34f0.jpg
