The tails dont tear apart as I had hoped, it will take a tool :Knife" etc to cut the bridge to make a twin tail. Or a finger nail etc, just not enough meat to pull apart.
Couple mold pics, I may tweek a few things yet but not much noticeable.
Looks good! Is the tail thin enough for can't-hold-it-still action?
I like it! Keep up the good work.
Looks fantastic!
Nice color mix!!
That thing is beautiful ! I'm gona want one!
*********s have you maybe considered putting ribs on these fireflys?
I could. Ill look at that first of the week. :)
Anything more on the 1.75 Firefly molds?
Im gonna work tomorrow or thursday getting it done, Im gonna rib the body, and narrow down the tail split attachment a bit so it pulls apart vs having to cut it.
Oh, its gonna stay at 6 cavitys. And im gonna do a 20 cavity, 10 each side of the runner.
I will do a tail mold if one person commits to it. But it likely wont be much less expensive. Most of the work is in the tails. :)
Me too! When it's done. Sold enough hair jigs to pay for one. I'm ready!!!!
Well I have to get on this,White Flag Icon
Chalk up another for me ! :HandsClapping
billygee.
Baitjjunky - you have any other jig molds coming out besides the ones on your site??
I'm trying to.. Right now I am working on this Firefly, and Another guy is drawing on a new swim bait and a lizard. Im gonna try to get him to draw on some new lead headz as well. Hes a buddy I am starting to contract him out, so we can make faster progress.
You better be working on that firefly:biggrin
texture, rework tail...
Will you guys be able to do 2 color bodies on those top/bottom?? Got a couple color mix's that might work up here in Vermont.
should laminate perfectly.
These tails may not come off so easily, as they wrap the body pretty good.
Changed up the ribs a bit, Im liking this much more.
I just caught myself drooling! It sure is hard to sit around and wait!!!
Lift, did you get the mail today? I would have thought it would be next day. Lol
Maybe today it wasn't in the mail yesterday
I would like to see your lizard when you get done. No one has a lizard I like, I've been looking for one.
quick shot, got to deburr the mold getting a bit of flash.
They are awesome looking fantastic job.
