Fished sabine river today from 11-5, very tough day. Fished several depths, patterns, and even crossed my fingers. I only picked up 3 fish. Just goes to show you when you think you've got them somewhat patternd, they shut it down. I did learn what not to do I guess.
Been there, next time you'll get em.

Bad catch reports can help sometimes. Better luck next time.
The gates are open at Toledo Bend, serious water coming down the Sabine. Unlike many reservoirs, Toledo Bend produces power when they discharge. That was an excellent decision when the reservoir was built. Apparently, very few reservoirs in the nation do that. A very good report in which I follow regular:
