Man that's some discharge they are doing. :popcorn
Doesn't look like they have any control or it, just pushing over the dam
No floodgates there.Just coming over the top. They got all the wheels open. Lot of water going downstream. Lookout Mr. Cromer.
WOW...That is impressive. I have never seen water flow down there like that. Thanks for posting.
WOW,Thought the water was high on the 12/26 first pic.But now look at it.
Thanks for sharing that vid. It has been many years now since we used to go fish behind Wateree dam catching catfish. Allen was just a boy and he's 34 years old now. The dam still looks the same (except with all that water coming over it). To this day I can still hear the wheels cracking open. Good memories of me, my son, and my good fishing buddy that we lost last month.
It looks like no fishing or camping for me for another couple of months. My camp site is under about three feet of water right now and the worse is yet to come...

Some more unbelievable video of the Wateree chain of dams. Hope it works
For once in my life I am speechless. I have never seen it like that. The pics of Clear Water cove are amazing. Thanks for posting guys.
Rango, I was just up at Wateree looking a small lot that I've had for over 50 years there. It's been maybe 5 years since I've fished Wateree. My camping is in the swamp. Yesterday, my camping spot, it was under 6 feet of water, today I see that it's starting to come down. But it's has had so much water on top of it for the past 90 days, it's going to take a while before I can even think about fish or camping there. I think Wateree is to high and muddy even for you..
