Those are good fish Marvin.
Excellant report Marv, congrats to you & Laura - "Happy Hour" fising is the one
of most fun times this is on the Kissimmee.
Thanks for sharing - and pictures to back it up.
Yes it's a lot of fun..can get fast and furious at times..mix in a few big blue hills, Bass and a catfish.
Retirement at its finest, eh Marvin ? Enjoying your posts, looks like Laura is having a great time also.
Really like Harold's " Happy Hour" fishing! :cheers2
Thanks for sharing.
This kind of fishing is hard to beat..yep we're having fun..need to give it a try Marv.
Beautiful lake. Beautiful fish.
Parking and kicking back looks to be just the ticket!
Looked like a fun trip :) WTG!
What is wild about happy hour fishing is: The "rush" when it starts, you know it going
to happen, but there is no time line - you can set for 2 hrs and nothing, no bites
nothing, just a beautiful sun set. You get to second guessing self, did you position
boat right, are you in correct depth for entrance/exit of grass, are deep enough
into grass so lines are positoned on edge of grass line. Than you sit and wait and
wait - then starts - maybe one or two lines go down - wait, wait than 5 - 6 lines
go down same time - this goes on for maybe 25 minutes - the sun has set and it
getting dark, couple more hits, light darker - than its down - their gone..
(Transition from deeper water into the grass for night of feeding on grass shrimp,
bugs, bait fish etc) Same thing will happen in am - when they transition back to
the deeper water just at break of daylight -
You nailed it Harold..bite usually starts 1 1/2 hours before..your right doesn't matter when you get there..never had much luck in the am
1 1/2 hours before dark, meant to say..here's a sample Attachment 224743
The daybeak run is a little more difficult - more or less have to be exactly in
right place - right time (depth-wind- timing -etc)
Love those pictures of sunsets in the grass at Kissimmee - nothing can come
closer to perfection....
Thanks Marvin for aharing.
