Getting new boat, I spider rig a lot . carpet or no carpet what everyones thought
No, No, and did I say No Carpet. Mine stays filthy. Hard to clean, gets rained on takes forever to dry even with fan.
lol thanks cray..............hot?
Rich, get the white pebble or light gray if Xpress offers it. No more carpet for me for the reasons Cray mentioned. A buddy of mine has the rubberized floor that is camo in his boat and it will melt your feet in hot weather.

No sir. No carpet
I'll add a NO to the vote. All the same reasons, and one more. I HATE trying to get a crankbait unhooked from the carpet. Something is going to lose. Either you will tear the carpet or bend a hook (if you're lucky) or both.
Go with the light gray. I have camo vinyl sprayed in the floor of my Triton and you dare not go without shoes in the summertime because it will melt you.
Ordered no carpet.
Rich, what little time I've had my Excel out, I like the textured floor but it does seem to be slippery when wet. I think with traffic and wear this will get better or go away. The carpet in my previous boat was slippery when wet. Sure will be nice to hose out the catfish slime and fish scales. Really looking forward to being able to get the trash out of wax worm boxes out. That sawdust material was still in my carpet on the Horizon from several years of bluegill and redear chasing.
No!!!!!
If your going to get a new boat, have a matching color of hydroturf installed.
You can run barefoot in the hot summer sun. My has held up to 3 full seasons of chasing ducks and crappie! Never have a boat without it.
