I've been told that Granada and some of the other Mississippi lake waters seem to be stained most of the time. What seems to be the best color softbaits or combination of when your waters are like this?

My favorites for Sardis is Black/orange or Yellow/orange for muddy water, Chartruese and something for the rest of time.
A crappie nibble or some other form of scent also helps in stained water.
Chart & white with a minner
Lime and Chartruse, orange and Chartruse, and White and Chartruse is growing on me.
anything with chartruse
anything with a minnow.

Black and Chart. Add on a orange head and you got it going.
purple/yellow( Enid special) , red/ chartreuse and black/orange .
That Southern Pro Umbrella tube is the ticket for me. 6-8 good colors that will work great with an orange or pink head. I add a curly tail when power trolling them. Kent Driscoll calls it a Rattlesnake rig with the Southern Pro Hot Grub on it.
Oh yea, a minnow on it too!!!!!
They also have different colors called Walleye Tubes and a solid body version called the Magnum Tubes.
Bill what size Jig head you using to get all that plastic on it and a minnow? 2/0 hook? Like the sound of that Rattle snake rig!!
Minners, they smell like a minner, they look like a minner, they are a live, and move like a minner, and I think they taste like a minner. So my choice is a minner.....:twocents

#10 (Popsicle) is a purple and pink combo. Don't leave home without it!!!! [emoji4]
Grenada and Sardis are not stained they are muddy most of the time. Those lakes are hard if you are used to fishing clear water. Believe me I grew up fishing clear water and those lakes are tough on me. I'll take 50 feet of clear water anytime I can catch fish in that.
Thanks Bill!
Pink Blue and White rubber threadneck and a minner works well in muddy water for me anyway
Brad Chappell's son did mine too. Big hooks, any blade and color I wanted. Used the hooks I wanted to order and baked on paint. Fantastic quality. Amazing what a blade change during the day will do while using the same color head.
