Just saw this again. Never did fish it. But after seeing it again I will...
What go you guys think this is?
It looks like rock outcrop or small bluff off the channel to me... Terry

ITS A WASH OUT OR SMALL CREEK OR DITCH ,IT DROPS DEEPER AND HAS A SOFTER BOTTOM THAN THE SURROUNDING
OH ,IT ALSO DO HAVE ROCK THAT STICK UP AND ON OTHER SIDE A HARD BOTTOM ALSO ON EDGE OF DROP OFF
NOW THAT ROCK LOOKS LIKE WOOD,WISH IT WAS A BIGGER PIC,:dono
Two things..... it sure is throwing a big shadow..and I wish I could get images that clear! that's awsome.
It is big and solid. Could be a huge tree stump I suppose...
Kinda looks like it could be an old road bed that ends with the remnants of an old bridge piling ..... is there anything on the other side of the channel that looks like it could be the other end of a bridge? Whatever it is is pretty tall.
I'm going with stump and root wad on a creek channel. It appears that the bank has eroded from under the root wad.
What ever it is ... I like it ...!!
Cewl shot ...
:ThumbsUp

Looks like a tall stump and some shorter stumps to me but I turned the picture/laptop counter clockwise so the pic was vertical. Must have passed over it just off dead center to create the shadows. Try and get some pics from all 4 sides. Still a cool find. Congrats.
I remember seeing it when I was bass fishing a killer shallow spring bite. Glad I got a shot of it. I will not be back there until around next April.
I will definitely get shots of the area when I make it back. It does look like there is a road bed on top; I gotta see the other side of the channel... Terry

Great image, next time out make a pass on the right of that and light up that drop. Up at the top of the point is pretty good drop off and would be interested to see what that view would show you. From the shot as is it looks like you have three pc's of standing structure along with a smaller one at the bottom. The one above looks to have a branch indicating a possible tree but your other pass will be able to pull more detail. Zoom in on it the next time you go out and get a shot like this other px and let us know. I'd keep a eye on that one in the next few months.

SINCE SB INLARGE THE PIC TO ME IT LOOK LIKE WHAT IS LEFT OF A OLD BRIDGE GOING OVER A BRANCH.IT LOOKS LIKE 2 POST THAT ARE BRIGHTER ALSO MUCH OF THE REST OF THE SHADOW IS A DROP OFF INTO THE CREEK WHERE THE ROAD STOPS AND THE BRIDGE AND CREEK ARE,THE CREEK GET WIDER THERE AND MAKE SOME TURN.IT IS HIGHER ON THE ROADBED SIDE THE CREEK SO IT WOULD NOT HAVE STUMBS IN THE ROAD
Awesome analysis fellas... I will certainly pull it in closer than 125feet, get some angles, zoom and run directly over it for some DI. To bad it will be four months or so before I can get back there. Terry
Just ran across another shot. Going the opposite direction; about the same track.
Better definition but still need shots of the other side...
Straight lines ; Poles???
