Ah - Big fight on the Mebaru rod
BTW, saw on another web site that Major Craft is supposed to start selling to the US market. They were talking about bass gear.....
I have been following the Major Craft to the USA....but so far it is only one rod....LOL. Getting ready to order a long Mebaru rod for Float'N Fly fishing for Smallies.Quote:

It's crazy Ah - MC got rave reviews at ICAST and they still don't come.... Not sure why they are excluded from the US market. They (JDM) got us with the rods and (some) reels but they can't do the jigs!!!! They do have some cool UL jigs, in Japan) but you don't see the custom work like you see here in the US.
Didn't get a chance to weigh him Walt - usually wait til they go over 12 mark - LOL.

And I'm fine if everyone else is obsessed with bass fishing (as I once was), just makes it easier for me to get in them gills and crappies thick!

That huge gill would be a neat experience to get to the boat.
I must be one of the few that am not looking forward to high profile recognition of bluegill fishing. Large purse tourneys like the bass crowd has ,complete with lie detectors at the weigh in doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy feeling. Should be good for people peddling goods though.
