Got a late start this morning. Put the first hook in the water about 10. Fished till 4. Wound up with 25 nice keepers including 1 over 2 lbs. must have caught 80 or so. Lots of smaller fish. Even caught some on jigs and nibbles. That's a big deal for me. Normally never catch any on nibbles. absolutely beautiful day to be on the water. Had to ices the fish down good to clean tomorrow or Tuesday am. Gotta bunch of work hours to come. Will take and post pictures when I clean them.
Where was you at? I was in the white bay boat in the Channel near Tommys til about 1ish
I was in the welfare hole in the deeper water closest to the marina. G3 with 60 hp Yamaha
If I went there I could kill that bite in a hurry. Lol but true.
Got a fishing buddy that goes with me sometimes. He can do the same thing. Lol
I crossed the dam Thursday and they were running the water pretty good.
I wasted two hours fishing down to the 43 bridge and back up to the entrance to Tommy's. Did not get a bite. Should have never left

How deep are they this time of year? I'm still in the learning mode!
These were 12 to 15 feet in 14 to 25ft of water. Water temps 53.8 early and 55.5 later in the day
Wish I had a better report. Couple days ago they were in 15-30 fow and caught a decent mess fishing 10-18 feet deep. Couldn't zero in on any color, depth, speed, gnat, jig or plain minner. Anywhere between the 43 bridge and north to the first left curve. However, any day on the water beats the day not..
All of mine were south or the bridge. Could only catch catfish and very small crappie north of 43 when I went. Probably different water discharge rate
Prolly so, bait balls everywhere, and fish in the FF, just not their feeding time. Mine came, so I went.
