Anytime its below about 65, its too damn cold to be comfortable. 80-90 is about perfect and if its ever cold enough for me to see snow....I'm headed south.
That said I love windy cold nasty days for fishing because no one else wants to be on the water.
Now that is funny. I think that really is him and Santa's on the way.:santa
That is a more dedicated soul than I have been so far. If the big crappie or eyes were biting I might give it a shot.
If that is Slab we had better get the libations ready to help thaw him out when he gets here. I think massive doses will be in order. Heck, they may be in order anyway!
First thing I thought of when I saw this photo, whatcha gonna do when you have to PEE! :hatchet::Rofl
Whip it out. Let it fly. Then break it off, cause it's already froze.
Andy's right about some of the best days are in the snow, especially when you have to cut holes in the ice that is three feet or better thick. I remember those days. BURR, CHILLY DAYS.
All I know fer certain is I am dern sure glad to be blessed to have lived in the south my whole life and not had to deal with that stuff. Hunted New Mexico once as a kid, including a whiteout, so have experienced it and worked in it once, sure not my choice fer living.
That maybe used to be me. Not no more. I'm almost to paradise. Fair warning.
