Gotta go find the fish first? :scratchhead
What part of the river are you fishing?
Ah there we go, nice pics & a variety of fishes - good day John !!:cheers2
I do the same and I have a good FF with HD downscan. I mainly just watch depths in the shallower lakes (I fish monroe to harney and the river in between mainly)....hopefully I can get the boat back up and running in short order....console needs to be glassed in everything reconnected to it.
(Old on rotted out and throttle fell off to make for an interesting experience a few months back) With a 6month old (as of today) these things dont make it to the front of the line anymore. Weekend project became 3 month long project.
Often wondered how big the cone is st 8' on a normal ff. Cant be too big. Sure be nice to have that 360 scan specially spiderrigging or longlining.
I read that one divides the depth by three for the cone diameter (22 degree transponder (I think))
That would mean in nine foot of water the cone would be three foot wide on the bottom,
and smaller as it progresses back upward to the transponder etc, etc, etc ..........
Thats bout what I figured. Not much help except maybe finding a small ledge or stump.
Very nice report. You in.:santa
360's - are not all they say they are especially in shallow water..
Better off with old weight and knotted chalk line for depth and contour.
Rebuilding of throttle assembly ought to be good story Seanfishy
Nice mix John:highfive
I'd love to have sidescan.
The downscan is nice, but for really shallow stuff its nearly useless (I use it out of canaveral quite a bit however)
