I'm sorry to tell everyone, our friend jerry,... xxl fish.....lost his 4 year battle with cancer.. a friend to all who ever met him, he will be missed by all who new him, or read his posts on cdc.

Yes he will. Not the news I wanted to hear earlier today. Will be missed. RIP...

Met Jerry when I sold him my boat....couldn't have asked for a nicer guy...kept in touch through the years...such sad news...prayers to his family

X2, I only had a few conversations with him but I remember them well. He was always willing to help you in anyway he could. Prayers sent to his family.

I knew Jerry very well and will miss him. It won't be the same fishing the banks of Shelbyville without him. Now he is up there with his first love of life.

He will be missed. He was what crappie.com is all about, Helping other fishermen out. Glad I got the chance to meet him. RIP
