Sandy Ridge used to give the best reports. Haven't seen him on here in a year or so. Hope he is ok?
there is not a lot of folks fishing right now, we still troll Muddy creek went last weekend fished 4 hrs caught 14 all small. Fishing 2 -1/16 going maybe 1.0 6lb line about 10 ft.to 12ft. deep. going to weiss this weekend see if we can do better. I would say mouth of muddy creek is best right now, or go to swanns ninacreek it always turns on about now. gonna meet a buddy terry Whaley and watch Cedar Bluff play 4th round Fri. night and fish sat and sun.
Thanks for the report Harley. I'm going to try to go over the weekend. I've been hit with this stomach virus and it's about wore me out. Hopefully it will pass and I can go Saturday.
i second that on sandy ridge.... He has em figured out there and helped me out with some good info. I haven't heard from him in over a year, and I have pm him, hope all is well with him. I've seen castle post reports. I try to give a report when I can but only get down a few times a year
havent been online in a while went to weiss last sat.kept 30 caught 200, we went to cork and fly fish and we busted them in little river, we troll 90% of time but we love to cork and fly fish. had a blast but lots of small fish, on other hand fished Douglas Monday caught just 10 but they were pigs 12 to 13 inches. When they stopped pulling water fishing just shut down, didnt catch a fish after 10;30 left at 1.00. we were trolling 2 -1/16 fish were 12 to 15ft deep. we were in muddy creek close to mouth. lots of trash in main lake.

fished saturday in mcguire caught 23 all day, not very good. fish are deep. got up sunday so much fog couldn't see 50 yards trash every where on water couldn't even fish where we caught our fish.
lake has got to 955 think thats as low as they will take it. Fish have been deep in Mcguire and muddy, got 23 last time but thats with 10 poles covering at lease 7 miles of water. Upper end should be on nina creek and Indian, and fish could be as shallow as 3 ft deep. We have a place in Muddy creek and we usually just drop trolling motor fish there, but once a year we will get up there in all that traffic.
