Murray conditions

Can I get a report on the water conditions on the upper end of the lake? Last time I was down it was pretty bad above buffalo creek. Thanks.

Still is bad a lot of rain this week. Have not been out as boat is in shop but here in Rocky creek it is muddy as for as I can see. A lot of people are pre fishing for the up coming striper tournament and see a lot of boats striper fishing farther out in the lake from my house. Not much but all I know of.

Thanks sinkermaker. I am going to be part of that prefishing crowd too. Came here first because I knew I could get a quick reliable answer. There was a striper tournament this past weekend also.

Suppose to get down to 39 tonight going to be cool in the morning.

I think the winner had 17.8#. It's chili this morn. Phone says 42' in Chapin. Bout to head out.

How was the fishin boys?

Another pretty day on lake Murray. I have not been on the lake for almost 10years until a couple weeks ago. From what I've seen the lake is very healthy and in good shape. Fish seemed to be pretty active. Nothing of any size but catching fish is fun. I sure would like to find a 15# fish on the 5th.

MSc did have a tourny Saturday. We fished till 1:00. Caught about a dozen keepers. Mid lake.

Atleast you caught some Reeldawg... I'm going to try to come down Friday... How muddy is the lake up around the Blacks Bridge area?

Three weeks ago I went a mile or two above buffalo creek and turned around. Seagulls were standing on the water. Well, standing on the floating timber. Just looked like they were walking on water. Lol. Have not been up that way in three weeks. Fish are following the clean water up the lake though.
