Run north up or course up? Why
North up.......because it makes more sense and is less confusing....and it works better at slow speeds
Always North up, keeps me straight!!
Course up
Usually north up.
I'm used to looking straight ahead, so course up. I tried north up, but the screen kept turning and I didn't know which end was up morn half the time.
Screen NEVER turns on North up, that's why I use it.
U right, I had it backwards.
Course up.
i use course up ,but i have the point one antenna with the electronic compass.U can always activate your courser when you get close and the map will stay still
Don't know which way I'm set, but the way I'm going is always top of screen.
Course up or heading up. I want what's on my port side to show on my port side, and the same for starboard when I'm running, especially in the dark. North up is fine if you're going north, but the screen is reversed when going south. Left is right and right is left. I want my view on the screen the same as what my eyes are seeing.
To each there own on this, I like a constant. I have seen folks turn a paper map all over the place and never have understood it.
I agree to Each Their Own John, but I want where I'm heading at the top of my screen. It's the same view as what your eyes see. No left or right calculations that way.
Folks just got to figure out what works for them, heck Mike runs coarse up and I run North up, no wrong or right, kinda like braid or mono.
I gotta have course up....I get so dang confused and find myself drifting away from the contour lines that I want to follow when its set the other way....I dont know if i need to turn right or left to stay on course until its to late
Course up of course.
Course up, unless trying to creep up on a waypoint. Then its north up. Otherwise, its like chasing a bouncing ball.
Course up for me... All i need to know is where im heading and which way the wind is blowing[emoji12][emoji12]
Course up. Cause it's the right way. They invented North up to make it easier to pick the gewbers out of the crowd.
