I see lots of people using crappie nets with long poles. I see some Eco nets that go to 80 inches for about 50 bucks. Is that the right one ?

Get the one from BRM. It is longer.
Is that the one in Memphis. I'm near Jackson ms. Do they have website and ship.
If your fishing two people in the boat that big long net he sells is a good net. If you fish a lot by yourself the EGO reach is your best bet in rubber. Light enough you can manuver it in one hand wile handling a long pole in the other. Grizzly Jig best place to buy.
The EGO Reach rubber net.....light weight easy to handle
Thanks. I do fish a lot by myself .
x2 on the ego.
That Ego is a wimp compared to the Crappie Master Net but the CM is a 2 man operation, it extends to almost 14ft including the hoop on the net. Super guide net for sure and doubles as one heck of a push pole when needed. Fishing alone I don't use a net period so I don't have one of the lighter ones.
If you were guiding and had to reach out in front of your clients, the long net is a must. With one or two people you don't need the hassle of that long net.
I drilled extra holes in mine, only had it half extended today and had no trouble reaching over netting fish.
I have the CM net and when fishing alone I don't extend it and it works good for netting fish by myself. When fishing with a partner it is extended half way unless the fish are real shallow then it is let out all the way.
I have both.. If I had to just have one..It would be the Ego.😊
I have the EGO and it has always been fine for me.
I have both and each has it's purpose. The only problem with the ego net is that 2# fish can jump right back out of the net if you don't hold it level and move quickly.
Pick your own poison. I use the Crappie Masters for everything. You can handle it by yourself easy if you don't fully extend it. The handle starts out 75", and goes to 111", and then to 141". The hoop is 19".
Like was mentioned above, you can drill holes in the outer handle to the length YOU like it.
I've used the Ego rubber net for years, started using CM net this fall and love it and it can be used fully extended when you're by yourself if need be...
We ain't all stout as u Blue!!!
I took the inside tube out on my CM this morning just trying it that way but haven't used it yet, nothing over 15 inches so far
Only downfall with the ergo is that it doesn't float,,,, Lost mine last year on arkabutla...also lost my brand new carter vest this past week,,,, I Need to start tying him stuff down,,,,lol
I use the Ego nets and really like them, I also have the new EgoS2 with the small rubber net for crappie.
The EGO slider is way too heavy, and a big fish can flop out of the smaller one according to Yikes. I've never used the smaller one.
