Now, on to my documentary
Filling in the large gaps with wood , glue and wedges
I've decided to epoxy and fiberglass all the wood decking
Attachment 220032
Doesn't look like a job I would want to even think of starting.
Looking good Brett! Ofishlbizzness is going to hire you for sure. He needs you to plan and design his rebuilding of his Tracker. Did you rewire anything while you had the deck off? That's what I wish I had done so I would have extra wire if I had to add anything to my boat. You got it looking good!:cheers2
You are doing a fine job. Just don't get too carried away closing up the cracks around your deck lids. You don't want to get them so tight that after the boat has been out in the heat or cold a few hours, you can't open/close the lids.
Now that's helpful!
Thanks
How bout makin the beer cooler a bit larger. Otherwise lookin good.
running new wires in a Tracker boat is easy, just remove the floor panels (the screws come out easy with a cordless drill) and have at it.
Keep the photos of your progress coming Brett.
Bret, be sure to cut the wedges off when you finish or you'll be tripping on theme the rest of your life. :-)
I need to redo the front hatch in my deep v its currently wood. Where would i get
A metalhatch from
Make it out of marine ply

Getting done
Last pic is aluminum that I sanded
Since I'm going to epoxy and glass the deck plywood I need to get some heat (sunlight) on it.
I'll be creating a tent to hold the heat
Attachment 220605
That looks pretty official. I'll talk to all of my friends. I'm sure there are a bunch of them that need their boats re-done. I will send you lots of business! Stay busy!:Rofl
No, really. That looks great. I know you're working hard. All jokes aside, it looks like something you're gonna enjoy for a long time.
I need to do something like that when I take my boat to Florida to support the cover at night. What size PVC is that? 1/2"??
Got it covered and 1st wave of epoxy is on.
Soaked in fast as it had to be 90 inside the tent

Actually this is a good way to keep Oldfish from seeing where I'm fishing and marking my honey holes!
