Great info! Thanks for sharing.
I never thought much about it, I just put a tube on and fish. I will definitely have to try this. Its the little things that makes the biggest differences. Thanks.
Thanks for the comments, the trimmed tube is also deadly tipped with a minnow and on the end of a spider rig set up. It really will increase your strike ratio when fishing with a tube. I have spent years fishing them this way especially on the end of a jig pole. It really works.
good read
How effective are these baits for shooting docks?
Gonna try it
Thanks for the great tip!
They are very effective under and around docks either shooting or with a small slip bobber.
WOW; That's awesome my crappie fishing friend & guru from the front seat driver simply because it's his boat Ken "4thethump" Ryals out of Pelahatchie Ms. turned me on to the mid south tube jig skirts a few years back. Never said any thing about trimming them.....maybe that's why he always catches more fish than me :( Naaa he wouldn't t do that ....would he???..........thank's anyway's crappiedan
Great tip.
I notice your nibble is white, so does it matter what color the nibble is?

Now that's a good idea and appreciate the advise ! Will try this for sure soon.
