Nice Herb!!!
How's the machine working out??
-
That is a great looking tie.
-
Very nice tie. How were your fishing it I've had limited experience with a darter
-
Looks like you are having fun again!

Thanks guys.
I fish it by casting past the shad, letting it sink a bit and rip it through the school. There are times when the shad jump to the surface. Then let it drop like a rock. Most strike occur on the drop, but some as soon as it stops in the school. The head doesn't "dart" as much as it swims slightly. What I really like is the heads natural profile. I don't get that profile from a ball head. Its easier to have confidence in a natural looking minnow bait in "Shad Season".
Hope this helps and Thanks Again.

Great report Herb. Nice work.

May I ask what type hair that is on ur jig?
-
I don't know for sure but that looks like craft hair to me.. I'm sure he will chime in
-
Yeah its white craft fur under blk/silver wig hair. If you flame the wig hair, it singes the ends and won't slip out after being tied.
Hope this helps and show yours if you make some.

What mold is that from. It looks like a longer head than my do-it shad dart mold pours.
