i love to eat slim jims!!!!! and ackel's acres pickled quail eggs!!
Shiner, I took a friend fishing once who said he'd bring the lunch. Well he had sardines, crackers and wine. I could handle the crackers and wine but told him I wouldn't eat the bait. Good thing I had a can or Viennas aboard.
"gene"
Viennas, use to love them but only eat them on the boat now.
yep bbq viennas!!!! and if available shadow shrimp!!!!!!
Someone told me last year they like spam and funyuns.
Who was it? :scratchhead
Beanie Weenies
Sunflower seeds and water, with an occasional package of peanut-butter crackers. I am usually too busy NOT catching fish to eat.
A can of viennas and a snicker bar. 2 or 3 waters and a large purple powerade.
Honey Buns, Pecan Wheels, breakfast, then lunch Vienna's, Sardines, crackers.
I bring dem Oatmeal cream pies when I bring my dog she loves them as for me its maybe a sandwich or 2 and Coke zero but if I have fried fish the night before I cant help but bring me some cold fish Felats . But I must say , and you all will probably think im crazy for thinking this but if I bring fish to eat while fishing I never have a good day the fish just dont like the fact that im eating fish while fishing
Peanut and honey bars with water. Simple no
mess
Normally I don't eat on the water, afraid I'm gonna miss something I guess.
Blueberry cereal bars, Jack Links premium cuts (thick) jerky, and about 6 bottles of water.
I usually grab a sausage egg and cheese biscuit from the store when I get shiners. I intend to eat early it but usually it sits in a little compartment in the boat until mid day. then im actually hungry enough to eat it. By then it aint so good. That and a big ol coffee and some water.
Peanut butter crackers and water, The boys like to eat them while I am retying rigs from their tangles and hang ups :biggrin
don't fish long enough to eat....fishing time is fishing time....theres a lot of other hours to eat...like doc says....if ya got time to eat, ya go home.....water...diet coke....20 years ago....bud lite on the boat ride back to the launch...maybe that was 25 years ago:dono
Don't eat in the boat very often. I'm with Doc Waldo got time to eat it's time to go home! However smoked oysters and crackers is my lunch!!
lol ohhhhh the reason i tangle up is because my crappie wife puts front of boat in 18 ft of water and the back is in 12 and stumps guess everyone has to have a handicap!!! lol
Honey Bun with white icing and Chocolate Milk in the morning
Ham and Cheese sammich for lunch
My favorite is cold leftover fried chicken, easy to reel in a fish with a chicken leg stuck in mouth, kinda hard to hold a sammich that way. But dont have that left very often round my house. Usually a few cheese nip crackers and some cold beverages.
Cajun Turkey sammich - on an onion bun, spicy mayo, thin cut mater and a slice of pepper jack cheese.
slim jims, beef jerky or homemade deer jerky and water. Oh, and peanut butter crackers.
I usually don't eat on the water but I always have a gallon jug of ice water and a thermos full of black coffee
If I do eat on the boat it's usually crow
I always took whatever I thought I could manage while fishing. Usually a ham sandwich or canned barbecued Vienna sausage and some cheese or peanut butter crackers; sometimes an apple, orange or banana; sometimes some stew or soup in a thermos (depending on how cold it is). But always some ice cold Mountain Dew with whatever food combination I may take. Funny thing is: I never drink Mountain Dew any other time besides when I am on the boat fishing. Weird huh!?
PS that sounds really good!! I think you are right. About eating just one!!
i''m surprised ain't no one said a RC COLA and a MOON PIE!!
am i the only red-neck on here?????????

Not sure about that but I know you are the only one dumb enough to like the Dallas Cowboys and NOT the LSU Tigers!:Rofl Just messing with you buddy, well not really! lol
Homemade jerky myself or a cold tamale works for me.
A sack of boiled jumbo peanuts and a couple thick cuts of head cheese.....And I always have a couple MRE's stashed just in case i need more than a snack.
