Some inquired about Deacon. He's fine. Can not make D'arbonne due to a church commitment. We will miss you Chris, but carry on brother.

Never been to D'bone without seeing Deacon...all I can say is
ROOUGAROO!
We will miss you, Deacon. But, believe me, I understand about commitments to church things. The Lord will bless you for your loyalty to His work.
Hope he is at TB in Feb
there needs to be a larto sticky i didnt know nothing bout it
I've looked on Google Map trying to figure out how to get to Uncle Buds. The roads looked pretty confusing in that area.
George, Dwayne is right about no good way to get there. I have always come in through Marksville across the Red River from the south. The gravel road into Larto gets wash boarded bad at times from there. Don't know about approaching it from the north.
George coming from Rocky Mount I would take I-20 East to Ruston. From Ruston take 167 South to Winnfield where you would take 84 east to Jonesville. From Jonesville take 124 South to Larto. The trip would be a little over 200 miles with all of it being good roads. Depending how fast you drive I think it would be between 4 to 5 hours. For me to drive up from Houma it's a good 5 hours coming in from the North. I drive up I-55 take 84 west just south of Brookhaven, drive over the river at Natchez to Jonesville and south on 124. Good drive but great fun. It would be shorter for me to come in from I-49 and through the beanfields but that road can cause you to leave you boat on the side of the road if it's bad.

Thanks, Gene! That's a good plan and I will follow it. I don't want to take a chance on bad roads if good roads are available.
