Cumberland Crappie 360 Rod Holders.
I haven't tried them all, and I am sure each has its pro's and con's.....but for me, I have...and really like the Hi-Teks. Well Made, easy set up and easy takedown..lite and strong.
SpyderLocs
Have had all kinds including home made from pvc. Was introduced to hi-teks several years ago and like the energizer bunny still going strong. Scott builds one of the best products I have ever used.
Cumberland crappie 360s for me.
spyderloks,i have owned others and the spyderloks win hands down if you are gonna use your holders for different setups(spiderrigging, longlineing, pushing pulling cranks)dont think youl find a holder you can adjust without wrenches that compares and super easy to adjust:biggrin
HiTeks for me. I use several pairs of bases in locations around my boat that allow me to go from spiderrigging to longlining to pulling/pushing cranks very quickly. Scott is a great guy and always looking to help fishermen set their boats up for maximum use and convenience.
Spyderlok all the way. Micro tune without tools. Solid construction. Quality product.
SpyderLocs
Spyderlock for me. Excellent product.
spyderloc and also get you some millenium seats while your at it haha....seriously though spiderlocs and buy some extra bases so that you can move the holders around the boat if needed. Great customer service too by the way
Have tried 3 brands, SpyderLoks are my personal favorite.
Spyder Loc for me

HiTeks. Looked and researched a long time before making purchase. If I had it all to do over again I would still buy the HiTeks.
SpyderLocs here as well.
Only ones I've ever owned were Hi-teks ... two of the 4holder setups, and I replaced the rod holder bolts with these : McMaster-Carr (though I still use the base plate bolts & a tool to tighten the T-bar to the base, just to assure a good solid mount).
Bought them in the Personal Classifieds on this site, and purchased two extra base plates from Scott. Very happy with the setup.
... cp :kewl
HiTech or Cumberland 360. Just bought the 360 and have not tried them. The reason I bought them as they have more adjustment than the HiTech in the vertical position.
Hi-Tek times 19. No issues. I think the extreme are the best with higher sides that keep the rod in place when they are 90* to the boat. I would buy them again
It's truly just a personal preference. If possible, try to see some of the ones mentioned above. I've had three different kinds up to now. Just got a new boat. Set up bow and stern with Spyderloks........Love um! For me and my type of fishing (Crappie and Stripers) they are my favorite and sooooooo easy to adjust and stay put. Good luck on your choice. You have some great products to choose from.
Spyderloks
Spyderloks for me, too. I've used most brands, and owned a few. If ALL you ever do is spider rig, there are many good options. For the most versatile and heavy duty, you better have some Spyderloks.
I have used 4 brands plus some home mades. Spyderloks is my preference by far!
SpiderLocks.
If you want to "single out" the pole that has the crappie hitting it go with DRIFTMASTER. They come separate of each other and this prevents other poles from vibrating the other rod holders. You know exactly which rod is hit.
I just won a set from Driftmaster and I can tell you that the independence of each rod holder to be moved and angled in multiple directions is one of the better features of the rod holders. Each rod holders base is able to be angled and rotated as desired as well as the rod holder itself.
If you buy one it will set you back about $60 but you could buy more and get them for a bit cheaper. Well worth the money in my opinion.
Thanks for all the input. Sounds like I have a decision to make.

Spyderlocs. Have 24 of them
Like spiderloks best out there that was at grizzly jigs.had cumberlands and sold them after I seen the spiderloks.that is my 2cents
HiTeks for me. Scott's great to work with he did some custom work for me that turned out awesome.
TiteLok Capps and Colemans. They are expensive, but now that they are welded they are the best. If they aren't welded, don't bother with them.
