Took my 4yr old and wife
To Jack Millers this morning...slow bite but we scrapped up a few, and she had herself a good time driving my boat all over the place out there....on another note, something different to do with the filets, I cook them in an étouffée...I added shrimp this time but it's good with just the sacalait too...

Gee, that cute little girl of yours has grown since I last saw her picture. She's a heart throb already, look out as she grows up.
Oh and a nice mess of fish and good looking plate of goodies.

Great post GF......glad I ran across you at the Spillway Sportsman.....

Bruce,
Really glad I ran into you at the sportsman also. Really enjoyed the visit...sorry they didn't bite for ya...
Scotty,
the recipe is really everything you see in the pics.
Saute some onions and such in a stick of butter
Add some Italian seasoning for flavor
Add one can of cream of shrimp soup and one can of cream of mushroom soup
Add water to desired thickness of gravy, and season to taste with delicious Fontenot and a Half Seasonong (my own mix available at fontenotandahalf.com)
Simmer for 30 minutes to an hour stirring once in a while and adding water when it gets to thick and sticks to the bottom of the pot too much
Add a pound of cut up filets and a pound of small shrimp, or two pounds of filets
Bring back to a simmer for a few minutes.
I also added a little kitchen bouquet and paprika just to add a little color, or you could use cream of golden mushroom instead...
