It was only a matter of time Mike:cheers2.......glad to see you guys were able to get after them!
Here's the deal....I ain't about to tell this group how to cook fish....but what I am gonna tell ya is how I cooked up a mess tonight. Now the first lady......she don't particularly like fried fish so I seldom keep any of my catch....but tonight I surprised her with fish on the grill. I know that ain't nothing special grilling fish, but the stuff I used is! Here's a picture of the bottle and I mean to tell you it was DEEEEEElicious! She even raved about it and said it was superb.....(in goober that means real good). I just let it marinate for a couple hours and then put the fish in a tin foil pouch, poured the rest of the marinate in with it, stabbed a few holes in the top of the tin foil and cooked on the grill (low) til is was flakey. I'm the hero around my house at least for now!!!:Rofl

Good stuff right there!
I'll bet they were some good eats, thanks for sharing Mike.
Sounds real tasty Mike, something else to try, put some in the smoker. I put aluminum foil on the grate layer in the fish and smoke for about 20 to 30 minutes @ 275 to 300 I have been usin fruit wood but hickory or oak is ok but just a bit stronger flavor.
20 to 30 minutes on filet or whole fish? Don't seem long. Does it dry out any u put any foil over? Luv smoked fish dip

I have taken fish cooked like that and made a burrito with yellow rice, mango salsa, a fat slice of avacado and some sour cream along with the fish in it. Man thats good stuff too. But that Lowrys iz goood stuffs.

Was that the whole fish or filets? Did u scale it first?

Thanks again.
Have been baking them with viadalia onion slices combined with orange slices
350 for 45 minutes in alum foil - oven style ( make sure olive oil all filets before
putting in foil.
Question for u guys? How did your wives get so lucky to find a guy that cooks? Doesn't happen at my camp
amen
Lemon pepper is our favorite spice on fish. Will have to try that recipe and that lemon pepper marinade.
