Hit the Grove today

After being out of state for 9 days it was time to get some boat time. With a front coming in tomorrow morning and a falling barometer today with light winds, today should have been THE DAY. It wasn't to be but we did catch supper. 4 sacs and 4 large goggle eye. We met someone who stopped about a hundred feet from us near the junction of another canal. We idled pass them to fish further down the canal and swapped a little chat. They had only caught 5 so far today but in the exact spot they were fishing, YESTERDAY they caught 200. Today there were none to be found in the same area, they had moved on to who knows where. We tried all the usual spots plus many others but none were found or none were biting. All and all a great day and Linda said it all when she said looking around, "God's church is beautiful". I had to agree. Didn't take any fish shots but got a few of the "church".

Sounds like a good trip to me! Awesome when you just set back and take it all in...God really knows how to set a landscape...Well put Mrs. Linda....

Nice picks PPG. Love to see the scenery shots of places I've never been.

And I'll agree that yesterday was a bust. Had 5 keepers and tossed five little'uns on Bonne idee yesterday even though my fish app gave yesterday a "95 excellent " rating.

Great pics and beautiful scenery. Sometimes I think we take the beauty of God's planet for granted. Thanks, Mrs. Linda, for helping us to all re-focus. Glad to hear that ya'll caught supper. Some of us struck out completely. LOL.I had to laugh about the guy who caught 200 in one place yesterday but wasn't catching anything there today. What did he expect after catching 200 out of there. I hope he didn't keep all of them. If he did, you were lucky to catch what you caught PawPaw. LOL.
