Good-bye old friend.
Always a tough thing to do. I have been through it at least a half dozen times... but it seems like it gets heavier every time. The fond memories and love for your best friend will never leave you.
Beautiful dog. Best wishes to you and your family. Puppy breath will help.
I've been thru it more times than I want to mention. It always hurts and a post like this brings back lots of memories.
That is a tough thing to do. Pets have a way of becoming a major part of our lives.
Ouch, sorry.
Sad to hear it. I luv pups. They are more human than humans.

I also feel the same as everyone above. Sorry to hear of your loss. If it was an average dog this post wouldn't be here. I have put down a few and have some closing in on their day and I hate the thought. God Bless you brother and help you through this tough time. I hope you find another soon.
Sorry for your lost, I know your heart is heavy, prayers sent for you and the family.
Thanks for all of the kind replies. Jack was a great dog. I had him for 9 short years. He had more personality than he knew what to do with and was a true companion, going everywhere with me, either in the truck or in the boat. He was with me everywhere I'd go. He got a degenerative spinal cord disease that was causing him to lose the use of his back legs and he couldn't get up in the truck anymore or go for our daily hikes. I found a vet that came to the house to euthanize him. It was better than going to the vet's office for all of us. He went peacefully on his bed in my arms. I had to go somewhere in the truck today and that front passenger seat sure was empty.
Prayers for the pain of losing your buddy.
Man's best friend. Sorry for your loss.
Sorry for your loss; been through it a few times 3 in a little over a year, never gets easy nor should it. I have the collar of my last buddy hanging from my rear view mirror in my truck. And quite often find myself going through pics of the memories... those are some really nice memories you've got posted up here, glad that you have those, I would imagine that you will find yourself coming back here for years to come checking out those pics, and that's a good thing. And thanks for sharing a little of him with the rest of us.
Sorry for your loss! It's rough! :pray
Sorry for your recent loss, its never easy but you cannot let them great kids suffer. I have the collars of all my great buddies packed away in my dresser, and at times I go thru them to wake up the memories in my old brain. That sure is a great looking dog in your pictures.
Sorry for your loss.
