Ol' Gadabout Gaddis. Bob, I sure do and I guess that's showing my age. I wouldn't miss an episode. He reminder me so much of my father in law. I learn a lot from him about pan fishing and fly fishing for pan fish.

Virgil Ward is as far as I go back. Man, there are some ol' timers on here.
hate to admit it cause it means I'm OOOOOld, but I remember him also
And Curt Gowdy's American Sportsman. Both on Sunday and I wouldn't miss an episode. Read the book too. He fed my internal fire for years. The Flying Fisherman.
I sure do. A good ol Maine guy. Solan, Maine if I remember correct. On the banks of the Kennebec River. Air port is next to the road.

Yep, remember them all ... and also watched KY Afield whenever I could remember that it was airing (and still do). KY Afield, FYI .... is the longest continuously running outdoor TV show in the nation.

Great link! Yep....remember all of them very well. :)
Well, I am two months from 70...but my memory is still pretty fair. I remember them and I always watched Curt Goudy. He told it like it was and actually taught you about the outdoors. Thank you for posting this.
