Started the day seeing doc and Lowbidr at launch

I see your speed, but how do you know how deep they are running? Is there a certain amount of line you have to let out to get them to run at a specific depth? I know, I know; too many questions. LOL. I have tried pulling a couple of crankbaits as I held the rods. No luck at all. I have no idea how deep they are running.

Pastor....line counter reels and a depth chart for the crankbaits you are useing.....here is the chart for Arkie 350's. Attachment 215377

To get started and see if you like it. ..you can use rods and reels you have just make a mark on your rods 2 feet ahead of reel and use charts to get on target
most of the time my rod tips are drag'n the surface

All those numbers makes it feel a little to complimakated for my pea brain. I'm thinking to many hangups around here for that.

these cranks bounce off of most stuff...been holding my rods and its a hoot....some of the strikes feel like some whoppers....

Can I ask how fast u trolling and is this done with big motor or trolling motor? Great Job!!!

Most of the time I use the trolling motor... if the wind is steady I will use TM going with the wind and the outboard going into the wind

On the speed I usually start at about 1.5 but here lately they've been wanting it around 2
