Had a vertigo attack yesterday while working on brush piles. Grabbed my trailer for balance and it jumped the chock and dragged med down hill about 8 feet. EMS came out and stopped the bleeding puncture wound. Went to emergency room and the sewed me up and gave me some good meds.
Family is down today helping me or should I say doing the work. Pappy, you may have to relocate my posts as I am in a misguided state of existence for a few days.:yikes

Sorry to hear, well you stay in that chair & relax & let family get some exercise, or er maybe have family move chair closer to water so u could wash some minnows....

Gotta watch those trailers. Always ready to jump out and take you down! A bushhog got me a few months ago. It sat out behind the barn for 7 months waiting on its chance to send me to the hospital.

Knock on wood, hope I outgrew them vertigo attacks. Doctor told me he had to do a little twist on my neck to get the rocks in my head straightened up. So far it's working.
If you think you feel one coming on, just sit down and let it pass. Stay safe and well.
WOW...I can relate to that.....my last one was at the ramp getting ready to launch...went to set down on the boat tongue to wait it out and it threw me flat on my back while I was holding on but no big hurts out of this one.....I always carry antivert with me......

Someone mentioned the rocks in there head, I would have laughed out loud if I hadn't heard it before. My sis in law had that problem, they made her sleep with her head elevated and could not turn it to the side for a week. The vertigo left and then they had her try sleeping on her side for a few night to see if it would come back. It didn't and now all is well. She was also on some meds while doing the sleep treatment. The explanation I got was that we have some "rocks" in our inner ear and when some of the get out of position it causes the vertigo. The meds are suppose to help dissolve the ones out of place.
