They are fishing the Crappie Masters this week, anyone got a clue what it is? Zoomed in on the side and it said SPORTSMAN something.

Looks like a custom job to me. Other than that, dunno.
I am like Bill, looks totally custom. Seaark has a really cool 20 ft catfish boat with dual console's that looks like it would make a deluxe crappie rig
Boat Models - SeaArk Boats - Arkansas
Never could afford it, but if I could think I would have to have one.
Looks like a pure fishin' machine!
Closest one in "Sportsman boat images" I could find.

Think thats it but not what I am looking for, want something more open in the back. Thanks guys.
I'm guess the 200 models are 20 footers, go bigger.
Dont want all that crap in the back, like a deck or a flip up seat. Smokercraft makes one kinda like I am looking for but you know I ain't getting a new rig. Looking for something used to pull cranks with in the summer and have plenty of room without crawling up and down off a deck, getting old.
I may be going out on a limb here, but.....why didn't you ask?? And I agree. Looks like a crappie machine to me. PLENTY of room for all the toys.
I'm not there, Mike Valentine has the picture posted on the Crappie Masters Facebook page. Had I been there I would have crawled in it, lol.
This is the first year I have missed the championship, I enjoy being in the parking lot looking at the rigs coming and going, some awesome rides. Some arent practical at all for my needs but it works for them, some make you drool and some are just awesome fishing platforms. Not sure what I am looking for is even out there, may have to design my own. A lot of the Walleye style boats sit very high on the trailer and this is not good for me, just don't want to have to use a ladder to get in and out of the boat when its on the trailer. The search continues.
Rees just get you a new Ranger 621 and be done with it. :biggrin
That ladder thing comes from fishing out of one of those, on the trailer and entering and exiting at the ramps are major drawbacks for me or I would be looking for one, not a new one tho. Once you are on the water they are as nice a fishing platform as I have fished out of but I fish alone a good bit and on the trailer they are HUGE!!!!
Getting old. Hehehe.

Dang Rees.....I am a old geezer and I can get in and out of one
You might look at a SeaArk 240, They have a lot of room in the back and if you take out the rear seats you can just about hold a square dance back there. I pull and drift for big cats with mine out the back so pulling cranks for crappie should be easy enough to set up for. as far as the front deck this is where I have added extra seat bases to sit two astradle the 25 gal front live well and spyder rig. Big boat handles the water well and a 60 in drift sock will tame most wind problems. I have mine set up with a 36 volt MK Terrova. I really like my set up.

Did you read the blog that goes with that pic???? It was awesome!!!!!

102" Beam, Pad Ride. Handles More Horse Power than any other tin rig.
No room in the back, I don't want a back deck at all if I can get away with it. Looks like a ton of storage up front and thats hard to find.
Really like this but don't know anything about em tho. Phantom 202 | American Angler by Smoker Craft
that one looks like it would really be tough getting in and out of and i would just about guarantee you getting your feet wet every time you get in and out of it.the reason i say this is because may brother inlaw has one alot like that one and guess who gets to back the boat in and park the truck.

You getting there big guy, that one on the bottom is the ticket once on the water, on the trailer and getting in and out of it when launching and take out is a pain though. Want my cake and eat it too I reckon but when I find IT I will work toward getting it, fish out of my Cat till then most likely.
there is a custom boat company in south LA called sportsman's their boats are built like tanks
