We found out she has degenerative discs, a pinched nerve, and arthritis. She goes for an MRI next week and then possibly a Nero Surgeon. She's still about the same, not much relief for her. Thanks, Larry

Pm PawPawgene from Louisiana. His wife had surgery a few weeks back(5 I think). The incision was only 1 inch and they went in and repaired a disc. No pain since the day of the surgery, and she is almost out of her restriction period. Should be back in the boat in the next couple weeks. Way better than the old style surgery. And God bless you both. We will pray for y'all. "D"
Praying for Sandy. God is GREAT.
Larry, first off prayers for Sandy from the Ash family.
My wife had back surgery about 6 years ago after quite a few years in pain with no relief. Surgery was relatively quick and she was up in no time! She has been pain free since and it has been a blessing for her. Like "D" said the incision is small.
Keep us updated please.

Yes. She has narrowing of the spine, 2 bulging discs, pinched nerve. She had an MRI and sees a Neurologist on the 10th. of Oct. which is on Sat. First time I ever seen a Dr. see patients on a Sat. She also got a cortisone shot and a RX for the same stuff in a pill form. The shot and pills have really helped. Thanks.
Thanks for the update, Larry. Still praying for you guys.

Good to see she's getting some relief, even if it's temporary. That cortisone can make you feel like Superman...er women. :biggrin

HaHa exactly what I was thinking and was about to reply, then saw Billbob's response. Ted, nobody wants you to be any different. We want you just like you are. Glad the shot's gave some relief. They work for me also.
I did say YOUR normal Ted. That both qualifies and quantifies the question at hand.
Thanks for the update Larry, glad she's getting some relief.
Sandy seen the surgeon on Sat. At this point she does not need surgery. She will be getting a series of 3 Steroid shots with some medication mixed in with it. He will inject it into the area around the pinched nerve to reduce the inflammation. She will also be going to therapy for her back. This will all start in 2 weeks. Right now he has her on some strong pain pills and I continue with the dishes etc. lol
Thanks for update Larry. Will continue to pray for speedy healing for her and your dishpan hands. [emoji12]
