Hit the lake at sun up water temp 76. Fished out of taw caw creek all fish came off of brush in the 15 to 20 foot range 8 to 12 feet down in and around the creek channel. Minnows was the bait of choice wind NE at 8 to 12 mph. All and all a good day! !!

I was early but as the day went on the better it got. Most of the brush piles I put out last December are all in protected areas off the creek channel and out of the wind for most directionsQuote:

My most memorable memories was catching slabs with my dad down at Santee about that age....:-)
