http://i826.photobucket.com/albums/z...pstbqabrxq.jpgkind of looks like,it could be a boat.maybe u could get a shot that is closer to it and post it.
The water is 18 feet deep there and the object is about 30 feet away from the boat. By the length of the shadow you can make out that it is about 5-7 feet tall. Could be a Christmas tree or a boat or some kind of structure that does not send back a good hard signal but can make out the shadow. I would say the object itself is hollow somewhat as it does not send a good signal.
Thanks guys, I will another scan next trip to the lake. I did not see it until playing back the recording. I thought it was a boat also.
Put the HB unit into Simulator mode ...
Then play that same recording back on the HB head unit "Snapshot and Recording" view ...and capture that same screenshot to the SD Card ...
Then let's see the comparison between the head unit playback and Humviewer of the same structure ...

Oh ...and there's a tool under the "Utilities" button in Humviewer that will estimate the height of an object by measuring its shadow ...

Here is the screenshot off of HB. What ya think???
No, just recording the main creek channel through the lake. Could it be a sunken duck blind, laying on its side???
This is why I ask about standing timber or pilings ...

There is a lot of tall stumps, most are below water surface. Some are visible on both sides of the channel. Do not know if that is the case in this exact spot, I am going to try and get a better scan today. Thanks for the pointers.
Looking forward to seeing more scans.could u try, turning down your sensitivity on some of your next shots also. (I think the lowest sensitivity setting, that u can get by with, produces the best picture)
Is this a reservoir?
It almost looks like it could be a hole like a cellar. Those lines on the bottom could be some kind of footers for a building.
Yes, this is a reservoir. I am going to get some better scans as soon as I can get back to lake. Thanks for the feed back.
Cool, looks like a old building to me. I do have a bad eye though...
Looks like an out house with the metal roof is gone.
Just timber
Finally got some additional scans today. What yall think it is now???? Thanks for the feedback.

Good shots
I think that the sensitivity setting is better.are these pictures taken from a live shot or from a recording?I'm thinking from a recording, because there blocky looking and I'm thinking that maybe something in the playback has caused this. (But still a great looking shot. Very interesting )
Yeah, they from a recording. Pics straight off HB. I have not looked at them on HV yet. I turned the sensitive down to about 2.
I'm thinkin I agree with your view of the sunken duck blind ...
