Amen to that!
Amen x2
Amen 3
Yep!!!!!!
That'll work.
yes
That's so true. Kids and even teens got no skills anymore. They don't know a circular saw from a chain saw. Don't know how to wire a light or drive a nail, or counter sink a drywall screw. These are real examples I just experienced from three boys/men (family) I worked with over the last 2 weeks on my house. Their ages ranged from 15 to 24, really!
!! Just my opinion!!!
Have done our children an injustice, by providing them more and better than we had growing up? My family had no money, so we had to fix or repair whatever we had. We learned how to nail, screw, weld, and repair. If we wanted more, we had to work for it, and save our money. When we had the money, THEN we bought it.
Now I'll step down off of my soapbox and let the next one speak.
Willing to bet my 24 year old daughter is one of a slim crowd her age that can build fence, roof a house, work on a car, shoot deer with her pistol. Included her did, spoiled but also down to earth .
Well, to my daughters credit (all three), they can ride dirt bikes drive shift shift cars. Oh, they paint and do drywall too. And they fish too! So to my credit, having three daughters I did better than most of the male relatives I have. :cheers2
I agree with ALL the above!
