From what I watched yesterday KU has A LONG way to go! And from what I have heard from those in attendance at the KSU game, it will be a mediocre year at best. Hopefully both teams will show dramatic improvement in the coming weeks.

Big 12 did not have a good showing this weekend.
KSU made the national news again .with it's lack of sportsmanship. there half time showed it's obsession with The Jayhawk's but it back fired there having to apology again. This time a KSU band instructor.
Big 12 commissioner in a press conference just booted K State out of the big 12. No conference game football or basket ball.
That article was a hoax! A funny one though!
Sad how many squawkers fell for that one… We where there and it was funny as can be. The starship enterprise shooting a alien space creature… All part of a show that was a good one. Gotta love the PRIDE of Wildcat land.Quote:

It's all if fun guys. The 5 years old sitting next to us knew it was the star ship enterprise and so did everyone else. A 10th of a second picture taken as they where changing formation in a 7 minute show has little meaning but that social media. Anyone who was there knew what it was and was fine with it. Only afterward when one still frame came out then it's a big deal.
The one thing we learned form this is unless it's mens basketball season not even hawk fans want to see the jayhawk in public.
we might be down in football but were not out.How many gold medals and big 12 championships . I remember even eating Oranges so yes were proud of our Jayhawks. threw any season.
KU has a new, inexperienced, high school coach. A confused ragged squad of a team. They will get better, but don't expect them to win any games, this season. It's a result of bad hireing bad coaches. 6 years of this. Go ahead and rub KU fans in the face if it makes you feel good. But don't expect any KU fans to like it :deadhorsenonono

. Ha I was just taking a shot! But since I hate every other SEC team (ok, except on non conference games), I didn't know how it was around here. With my in laws as OU fans, OU was my big 12 team, until I moved here 4 years ago. Now I'm a royals fan, and KSU fan I think. I kinda dig that bill Snyder story- I understand he was a long time successful coach, he retired, they named the stadium After him, then he came back to help out, with pretty good success. Wish that would have happened at TN with Phil Fulmer, but we went the "younger, more modern coach, route.Quote:
