Enjoyed it all. Unranked Texas A&M beat number 15 Arizona State. My Carencro boys beat Westgate 47-0 which is outstanding. Good thing the open air Cro-dome doesn't have a roof - otherwise they would have blown it off. Kevin Faulk has done a tremendous job with our team. That man is a millionaire and doing this just for fun. Respect that fella.
Too much fun once season is here, really enjoy it. I guess most folks are more in interested in killing ducks, gaters and bigfoot.
Know what you mean Randy. Much more into college football than the pros for sure.

The SEC west is going to be tough for sure.
Well the Hogs did play well this weekend and I expect going into Jerry's world we will be 3-0 and that game will tell us exactly what we have. Yes, the SEC west is the toughest conference division in all of CFB. Are the Hogs good enough to win it all, I don't think we are there yet but I do think we will have some say in who does win the west this year.
The good thing about Saturday was we won and Texas got throttled........always makes my day :biggrin

Don't know what is going on with SC. Just did not play in the first half, different team in 2nd half, but may be too much to overcome. Two field goals should have been TDs. We will see. 10 minutes left, down by 8.
You fellas took some hard losses yesterday. Both games should won, don't understand that.
After the SEC put a record 10 teams in the AP poll this past week, the Arkansas loss to Toledo put a dent into our league's reputation.
If LSU doesn't get any better, it is going to be a long season! You can't count ALL on just one guy to win the game for you. They got lucky Saturday!

Just 2 touchdowns called back. A catch called a no catch. Fournette tackled 2 times by facemask, right in front of ref, no call. Beckwith taken to ground by facemask/holding in front of official, no call.Take away the delay of game against Stateand you have more than twice as many calls against LSU. Granted LSU has problems at quarterback and granted holding can be called on most plays, and granted ref's are going to make mistakes, just keep them even. I think the Hogs got some problems also. But you and me, we good.
Yea Danny, I don't have a problem with most of the calls they had agaisnt us because we did them! But the other team did A LOT too that DID NOT get called! I don't have a problem with them making calls against us as long as they make calls (that are correct) agaisnt the other team too!Quote:

A fellow colleague at work is an Acadiana high school fan big time. He say's they lost to my Carencro Bears only because of their mistakes. I told him a disciplined team will capitalize on such, that's the way it rolls. Gave him a work order today and he thought I came down to hang a banner on his office door about the Bears. Should have done that with those uppity city boys.
LSU kicks off in a few minutes early for them. For ball game brunch I got some Zapps spicy Cajun bean dip and frito scoops. The bean dip is great with a cup of coffee.
