Been looking in my garage again?
He don't have a problem, come to my house
problem?? My wife thinks I should open my own tackle store
Fisherman are NOT hoarders... we are collectors!
Non fisherman logic: "Let's buy one and see if it works"
Fisherman's logic: "Lets get 10 in case they work"
I call my wife "Imelda Marcos". She has to have at least 40 pairs of shoes in our closet at any given time. I won't even look in the upstairs closets where the off-season stuff is stored.
300 crankbaits in my boat? Tools of the trade. A man has to have a tool for every job.
Good thing she likes to pull cranks.
Luckily, I don't have a "MRS" to complain about my 30+ rods/reels, 8 tackle boxes, and two closets full of fishing/hunting paraphernalia :biggrin (and that's just stuff for ME to use  )
... cp :kewl
My wife thinks I have too many rods and I've only got 5......so far. :)
Of course she's got about 400 pair of shoes so she doesn't have much ground to stand on!
Holy cow :yikes
If she thinks you have too many, have her get online and find out about the rest of us. I'll bet she will think differently.
As for the wife, I don't ask about shoes, cloths, etc... She don't ask about lures, rod building supplies, jig making supplies, boats, motors, trailers, bows, guns, hunting cloths..... She does however despise my underwear with holes in them. I tell her "that is how I save money for everything else"!
I had a lot of tackle, and last year my brother passed. Now I have L O T S of tackle. And he had (and now I have) salt water stuff I will never use.
I think I have a problem too. 5 catfish rod's 12 bass, 2 saith water, 8 spider rig, 10 longline, 2 float an fly, 4 ultra light, 3 just for dock shooting, 2 6ft light jig rods, 1 ver.jig, and a fly rod. I probably. Forgot something but you get the point.
Boat and fishing stuff is out in the shed, wife does not go out there which is a good thing I guess, but she probably wouldn't say anything as the rods "not in season" are hanging in between the ceiling rafters out of sight for the most part. She only sees the ones in the boat (in season rods) IF/WHEN she goes out there. I keep a few big spiders and bugs well fed out there so that reduces the # of visits out there even more. LOL
My biggest fear is that when I die my bride will sell my fishing stuff for what I told her I paid for it.
You are a wise man my friend. You have a keeper!
