This will be a nice addition to the lake, plus, they are doing some land fill for the new campground with the extracted dirt.

OH BOY!!! Lots of new ski boat and jet ski lake lice all confined to 1000 acres. Might end up having to draw a number to get on the water. Makes KY Lake look better all the time.
I have past life experience with small lakes with lots of boats. Not a pretty memory. Hope this situation works out better than that. It is a pretty place.
I guess they will float that into position when it is done?
I was there yesterday !
Beautiful lake !
Some of the dock builders near here used to build monstrosity docks right in the area of some of our day-use and public launching areas. They would block everything but some parking and the ramps. It really got some folks dander up!
I think they finally got the message when they had some vandalized and calls to LEO got it mostly stopped.
You have to pay to play on this particular lake (except for us old folks and disabled veterans). This helps keep some of the traffic down. The back 1/3 of lake is reserved for fishing.
I basically use the lake to test my boat cause it is nearby. I have never fished it. I have done some scouting and verified the maps I made from Google Earth.
Mostly, it is fisherman in spring and winter.
I am sure the lake has plenty of "nuts in a boat" though.
This is a city/county owned lake and they set the rules. TWRA enforces the game regulations.
We never go to Beech Lake in Lexington anymore because of what you stated.
I'd like to have the creek channels on a sd card . This lake has a neat bottom to it plus tons of milfoil .
I got an 899 Humminbird Tom
Crappie are still on the small side for me to go fishing there. Hard to bring home a limit of just 10inchers. Bream are on the impressive side for how little of time that they have been in there.
i got me 2 hds can i get me 2 cards??
Of course, but it will cost you a KFC run.
Where is this lake being built
Its in Carroll County near Hundinton Tn. on Hwy 70 north of Jackson.
I think that is the lake that the flood a few years ago messed up the levy and they are rebuilding it in the same place
Plans are to restore the lake. Money is the issue.
I heard it was going to be upward of 2k a yr to rent a slip at the new marina. Hate to see what the campground is going to cost.
Out of county permits are $5.00 a day and I have to buy a permit for my wife to sit in the boat with me. $10.00 a day I just as soon go somewhere else. Gibson County lake is giving up some nice bass. I plan to crappie fish there later in the fall.
Must be planning on a big off season attendance. Off season is when I show up.
