I haven't sold many of these units but it seems the use of tablets on the water is becoming more popular. Brian

WiFish - Black box wi-fi CHIRP DownVision sonar module | Raymarine
those are the two links that I found....im curious to try one since I already have an ipad....I already use my iphone with navionics map for mapping....im about to order a ram mount and start using my ipad for mapping with navionics app.....large touch screen...and that way i can keep my depthfinder on sonar and down image

I think glare would be a problem
im not concerned with the glare...i can fix that with a shade
This is exactly what I been wanting developed. What do you need to make it work? Does it work as a mobile hotspot or does the tablet need to be cellular?
Needs to be cellular but you can make your cell phone your personal hotspot and connect the tablet to that
