Anyone used to muddy water baits or any other carrot style plastics with any success around here? Getting fed up with how soft bobby garlands are these days and the darn tail always catching the hook.

Do-it's 2.5" crappie carrot is one of my favorite plastics to use.
Do they hold up fairly well?
Bobby Garlands run the hook out the back instead of the what I call the front and that will stop the tail hookups.....Ranger
My Slabmaster is a 3 inch bait that is very tough. Much tougher than BG baits. You can ask fish_a_ledge how tough they are. The action is very good. It is similar to BG Slab Slab Slayer but a larger diameter.

Man those look great! Can't wait to try them out! Just out of curiosity how do you pour the 2 color jigs?
This mold I just shot the tail color, cut the body off, placed the tail back in the mold and then shot the body color. Here was the 1st shoot.

Nip - you sure are getting good at this.
Beaver Bottom Baits are extremely durable.
Does anyone carry them locally or a order only thing?
They are local. They are out of Owasso. I ran into the guys at Oolagah ramp a couple weeks ago. Very nice guys.
