I agree with the other guys ..... I like the concept, and if they would keep it honest they would be better off .... They are only going to sell people who believe that the sonar will shoot around corners and see what is on the back side .....BS.nonono:dono
I actually believe the guy was either misspoken or misinformed. Looking back at the picture, it isn't truly showing what is on the other side. It is changing the angle of the camera so to speak and basically showing a wall as the "end of the signal". Truthfully, that ledge could have went on for a mile or more. Around the 8:30 mark it really shows what I am referring to. You are not seeing what is on the other side of anything, just a wall at the end of the signal.
I think it is a great product, just the wrong guy giving a demonstration of it.
You could always change boat directions and take a 2d/di look see. Non believers.
