I've caught doubles trolling minnows and jigs but this was my first double on a crankbait. My guess is the crappie hit first then the white tried to steal it.Attachment 212152

Bet that was fun reeling in. I've done it once with 2 bass over on the St Francis. Definitely don't happen that way every day.
nice, have had doubles many times with a double minnow rig,but never with a crank
Sweet Wayne.... Had my first one of these last week

Yours was a tangled line Gewber. He had two fish on one bait. [emoji12]
Cool piks!
Yep it happens with multiple hooks. We fish weekend before last with Rouges and I caught 2 different doubles on Bass. I have seen 3 hooked on one Rouge once .
Thats pretty cool Wayne
That s neat Creekslick, never seen that before
If you look close the lines are not tangled.. Not even one twist.... You know a lot , but i caught that fish and the guy fishn with me reeled the other pole in... Now i wasnt under water to see him hit it, but it appeared he hit them both.... If he didnt, it happened in a way that i have never seen... I have had a bunch of fish get caught up in other lines, this just didnt look the part.... Gewber smoocher [emoji15][emoji15]
Nice congrats!
We had that to happen a couple times spider rigging with a capps and coleman rig where the fish would hit the bottom one, come right up and hit the top one. When I tell the story, I always say I had a fish on both hooks at the same time.:biggrin
It's is funny that this was brought up, because TODAY. I had 2 at the same time on the same crankbait, unfortunately, the one on the front hook was me. I was hurting purty good until the fish thrashed around and made the barb come through the other side of my thumb then I got some relief. It was then a simple matter to cut of the barb and pull back through and keep on fishing. Let me tell you, that those chinese needle nose pliers don't cut worth a flip when in that situation. Starting now, I am in the market for some Merican' made pliers just in case it happens again.
Creek is their any crappie left!! :yikes Good catch thanks for giving us hope:biggrin has been a tough bite.
Is that a strike king crank creek,I've caught a lot of fish on the 3xd this year
